In 1977 the present writer introduced 30 Australian and New Zealand newspaper articles on the Japanese Antarctic 3 Piece Queen Sleigh Bed Expedition led by Nobu SHIRASE (Nankyoku Shiryo (Antarct.Rec.), 59,177,1977).Recently collected 14 Australian newspaper articles on the expedition, reported between February 1911 and April 1912,are presented; the articles Cat Food mainly dealt with the behaviour of the expedition while staying in Sydney in 1911.
